Rafael Wolbert, 39, is an brazilian visual artist living in Padua, Italy, since 2023. He graduated in Visual Arts from the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) in 2018 where he qualified in Drawing. He considers himself a multidisciplinary artist who moves between painting, drawing and design. In recent years he has been painting scenes of brazilian culture that center the musical universe, some of these scenes refer to traditional musical groups of african, indigenous and european roots that are called Congadas”. He participated in the group exhibition Óneira – Casa Di Quartiere Graf – Bologna in February 2025, also in the group exhibitions of the MoMArt Association – Padua between May and June 2023; In the Shadow of Gattamelata – Art Exhibition – Padua in May 2023; Group Exhibition Janelas Abertas – Adro Galleria – São João del-Rei, Brazil in December 2020; Group Exhibition Deriva – UFMG, Brazil in August 2018.
